Tenant Improvements for USGS
Lawrence, KS 16,863 SQ FT
Completed: February 14, 2018RP Lawrence LLC needed to completely overhaul this Lawrence, Kansas building to suit their new tenant, the USGS Kansas Water Science Center. For their Water Science lab work, precise humidity control was a crucial factor.
We installed an 8,000 cfm, advanced desiccant dehumidifier to deliver cool, dry air from outside. Inside, we installed gas-fired and steam humidifiers with wall-mounted controllers. We outfitted lab stations with laboratory gas piping and fixtures, intake and relief hoods and lab-fume exhaust fans.
McElroy’s did all plumbing and fixture installation for the facility’s laboratory, emergency station, domestic water and wastewater needs. We also installed the JCI building automation systems.
For creating the entire mechanical environment for advanced laboratory needs, count on the innovative experts at McElroy’s.
