Wade Jueneman, Dan Beal and Jimmy Thomas present the 2024 McElroy's Core Values Integrity Award to Phil Harper.We’re celebrating Phil Harper, a McElroy’s commercial-construction project supervisor, as the 2024 honoree of the McElroy’s Core Values Integrity Award. “Many exemplary McElroy’s team members were nominated by their peers, and the selection committee carefully considered each of them,” said McElroy’s Chairman Dan Beal. “Phil Harper was unanimously chosen for consistently demonstrating all five of our Core Values in everything that he does.”

Most Prestigious McElroy’s Award

The McElroy’s Core Values Integrity Award is the highest honor a McElroy’s employee can receive. Given annually, this award celebrates an employee whose work especially exemplifies McElroy’s Core Values, while achieving excellence in service to the McElroy’s team, customers and community. Our Core Values are: Positive Attitude, Trustworthiness, Problem Solving, Craftsmanship and Service to Others.

Positive Attitude

Phil Harper, McElroy’s commercial construction project supervisor, excels in cooling, refrigeration, thermostats and electronics.While Phil excels in all five values, his expertise and positive attitude are his most outstanding traits. He is known for leading by example with a wealth of knowledge and a happy, easy-going style. “Phil Harper is the commercial construction team’s go-to expert regarding cooling, refrigeration, thermostats and electronics,” said Wade Jueneman, McElroy’s president. “For such a sharp, technically minded guy, Phil is always a pleasure to work with. No matter the challenges, he’s always upbeat and smiling.” 

Knowledgeable Leader

“Phil is a great leader who has valuable experience, and teaches people how to do high-quality work,” said Brent Eisenbarth, McElroy’s BIM designer. “He is always there for the guys he supervises, and his team loves the heck out of him. In all the time I’ve known him, I’ve never seen him in a foul mood.”

Donation to USD 338 FCCLA Program

Phil Harper presents his $500 honorary donation to the Valley Falls USD 338 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America program.Each year, McElroy’s donates $500 to the charity of the honoree’s choice. Phil designated the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) program at Valley Falls Middle School for this year’s contribution. “My family is dear to my heart, and this program benefits my kids and many more students and their families in the community where we live,” said Phil. “FCCLA helps young people to learn real-world skills that they can apply throughout their lives – things like critical thinking, communications skills, interpersonal skills, technology use and much more.”

Honoring Expertise and Friendliness

“Phil celebrated his 20th work anniversary with McElroy’s last year,” said Jimmy Thomas, McElroy’s commercial-construction project manager. “He has tremendous knowledge and he’s able to communicate complex information to technicians in the field and to customers – with a powerful combination of expertise and friendliness. McElroy’s is pleased to honor Phil with the highest honor the McElroy’s team bestows. Thank you, Phil, for your service, integrity and dedication to the ideals of McElroy’s!”
